(Almost) Home sweet home

So would you like a tour of 10785 Joeger?
Well of course you do!
Brace yourself. It's going to be a pretty bumpy ride!

In the driveway looking down at the front door.
Clearly the dad is happy.
Not sure why. That door frame has a hornets nest on it.
Musta been before he saw it.

The steps down to the front door. (Where I'm standing now)
The driveway is up there.

Front door looking in.
I will say one of the best parts about this house is the awesome front door.
My dad said it probably wasn't up to code because it was cut down to fit in the low frame.
Fortunately, I'm only 5'2". The door is perfect.
I may however need to have a height requirement for friends.
"You must be under this ---------> height
To enter the Weaver home.
Tall people may use back door. "

Entry way looking at the back of the door.
In the front room looking at entry way.
Living room looking back at entry on left side of picture.
The brick area is where a stove used to be.
Standing on the brick area.
Weird bathroom on left corner of screen.
Kitchen directly in front.
"Master" bedroom is the door on the right.
Entry and office are behind me.
Awesome chandelier in "Master" bathroom
"Master" bathroom. That sliver of a wall on the right? That's the closet that's in the bathroom.
Don't you just love the hidden nook in the tub? It's like a secret hiding place! In the shower!
And I know you're just loving that green corner piece.
Don't you just loooove the wall paper?
*Blech*
"Master" bedroom. Bathroom is on the right.

The basement.
Please ignore the gross floor, hideous paint and creepy wall decals.
The steps upstairs are on my left. The door to the carport is behind me.
I have really high hopes and big plans for this one.
The oh-so-awesome retro bathroom.
I do love the built in cabinet.
I'm warming up to the pink set.
I will not however fall in love with that wall paper.
Or sink.
(I told you the wallpaper had naked European people bathing. I can't make that kind of stuff up)

Back porch.
Loooooove it.
The creek is on my left.
Clearly dad likes it too.
On the porch looking at kitchen. The sink is through the window on the corner. The sliding door is just past the dinosor of a washing machine.
Standing on the covered porch at the sliding door.
That's the bridge over the creek.
The pasture is up that dry grassy walk way.

I do realize I didn't take any pictures of the kitchen.
So I'll hopefully be able to take some next time we're up there :)

Same time, Different place

I love that this morning we were up at the same time sharing our morning together.

"...things change, so do cities, people come into your life and they go. But it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart... and if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.”

The first McSteamy, McDreamy... my very own McGraw ;)

So as you very well know the other man in my life is Mr. McGraw.
(We have had a secret love affair long before my Jay-bo came around. But it's ok, the hubby knows about this other man and has fully accepted my relationship with him)
You remember that very first artist you fell in love with? The artist you would have given your left kidney to see?
I never fell out of love. And I never got to see him. Even after offering my left kidney.
But now I have and I can die happy.
I realized I never put pictures on here and I'm wearing this shirt and thought I'd share the McGraw love :)

My Amore

I thought I'd pay a tribute to my one and only Mark. Now I know this blog is suppose to be about us, but hey we have to humor the guys every once in awhile right!? He's one cool dude. This pic is a couple of years old, but I liked it a lot so I thought I'd post it. I looked at a lot of pics of us. It's kind of hilarious to see all the hair styles I've had. I'm pretty sure if I posted a pic from every year my hair would be different in every one. :)

As you know my weekend was less than the best. I'm not real sure how to draw myself out of the place I'm in. Any suggestions?
